Every freshwater pearl and mother-of-pearl fragment we use has its own journey.
Born in the depths of rivers and seas, these materials have crossed the ages, currents and tides, before finding their place in our jewelry.
Through our creations, these marine elements continue their journey, passing from the aquatic world to the terrestrial one, while carrying with them the indelible imprint of their natural origin.
~ Names inspired by the very heart of the ocean ~
Belyness jewelry is named after phytoplankton. These marine organisms form the first link in ocean food chains and are essential to its biodiversity.
They also play a crucial role in the overall balance of our planet. Phytoplankton alone generates 50% of the oxygen we breathe and contributes to climate regulation.
By naming each piece of jewelry after these living organisms, we want to restore visibility to these almost invisible but vital beings, thanks to which we breathe every day.
